I am building a gaming system for a friend. His budget is around $1000-$1200. We will not be overclocking his system, and there are no future plans for multiple video cards. I believe his monitor is 1920x1280. Here is what I have so far:

CPU: i7-3770

Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Pro 3

Video Card: MSI GTX 660

RAM: G. Skill Ripjaws 1600 2x4GB CAS 7

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB

Case: Cooler Master Storm Enforcer

Optical Drive: Lite-On DVD Writer

I am having trouble picking the power supply. I have read comments on newegg about some having cables too short for bottom mounted power supplies. Plus I would like something that is (semi) modular for easier cable management. Also, he tends to leave his PC on ALOT so I was wondering if you would suggest a non-stock CPU cooler?

maybe because we want to build a computer legally...
ever thought of that?

I cant believe anyone would be dumb enough to pirate an operating system .

You are trusting the thief who stole it to not add a few backdoors and to stay out of your computer, your credit card, your bank account and the rest of your life

Yes, pay $100 for an OS license now, or pay $15,000 in legal fees when Microsoft finds out you've been using Windows illegally? I don't get it. :ange:
