Monitor & Sound suggestions

Hello: I am sorry if i posted this in the wrong area. I have a budget of $150 dollars. I am looking for a monitor and speakers for a new budget gaming rig I built my little sister. FX-6300, Radeon 7770, etc. etc.

My little sister is a gamer, and I am positive she will playing guild wars 2 in no time. I am looking for two options.

Looking to get the best value for a new monitor and speakers. I have no issue with refurbished or open box.
I live near a microcenter. I was looking at these:

This leaves no room for speakers though.

My budget would go up to $200-$250 if the monitor had more than 1 hdmi connection and could be used for TV, Xbox, and ps3, and PC. i guess its called an EVO tv or something. Now she is gaming on 32 CRT w/ ps3 and 360.

I wouldn't purchase that monitor it seems quite generic. I would get something like this. You get a quality display its a IPS panel and its from a company that can back up quality. They also come with a ARR service which is setup so when something goes wrong and you RMA the monitor they send you a new one as you send the old one back and they pay for the whole thing both ways.

Speaker wise I'll leave that up to you but for a monitor I feel its something you will appreciate a bit more given you are purchasing both.
