Is this normal: 1055t (6-core) @ 30degreese (celcius)

yeah i recently got a $100 liquid cooling system with my overclocked amd 1055t. I'm wondering if it being around 30-40 degreese is normal. Because i hear i7's are at 80 degreese.???

edit: also how much can i overclock my 1055t to? I dont really know how to handle with voltage, etc. I know i need to change northbridge etc, ram clock etc.

you mean under full load, that is no where near a problem, as far as it goes, just try to keep the temps ~70C, when you start reaching the 80's its not good for the processor

so what do i do to make it a higher tempurture lolz is it better to keep it low though? I just overclocked it to 3.6 like a minute ago its workin pretty smoove xD

Amd chips are much different than intel chips. You don't want an amd chip going too much higher than 60c where as an intel can withstand temps in the 80's if they aren't overclocked.

Keep in mind if you are overclocking and especially if you are adding voltage the safe temperature will decrease and instability will increase.

Use a program called Prime95 to load up your cpu to determine whether you have a safe 24/7 setting as well as to check for stability. Again, amd chips should run high 50's very low 60's at most even while overclocked.

If those are load temps that is fantastic. For AMD chips the general rule is anything under 55 degrees is safe, but the lower the better.

Intel can run hotter than AMD chips, so comparing to an i7 won't do you any good in regards to temps.

i got my first BSOD with 3.6GHz and 1.275(default) volts. I changed it to 1.325. Will that do anything? (BSOD with OCCT @ high data transfer and normal priority)

yes, if your clocks are too high for your voltage if will blue screen

what voltage should i keep a 3.6 running at? I put it at 1.321 should i make it about 1.35?

I wouldn't run anything more than 1.4 on a 45nm AMD hexa for 24/7, though I have found with a 1090t to be easily good enough to get 4ghz. With a 1055 I would try 1.38 at 3.8 ghz and I'll bet you should be good to go. If it bsods on the load test you are using, bump the volt. If it gets too hot, lower the volt and decrease speed a little bit.

Liquid cooling. Cost about $100 got it from NCIX. Its some CoolIt system thing lol
