This is the final config i am buying for encoding and Video Editing ( for my home videos )
Please Comment on this config

i will be using windows 7 64bit pro with this ( already own it )
my budget is slightly stretchable so please don't suggest any fancy product. e.g keyboard,cabinet,etc
i won't be doing any gaming so i don't think gpu is needed but tell me if its needed in encoding and video editing

You will be much better off getting a graphics card. It will help to speed up whatever your doing much more than the integrated graphics.

i have "Asus NVIDIA GT 630 2 GB DDR3" in my mind is this a good buy, if not can you suggest me something similar in the same price range..

also my friend is suggesting me that 2Gb is overkill for your purpose is this true ??

Unless you really need a i7 you can get the i5 3570K at Newegg for $229 plus they have a %15 off code until 3/7. My 2013 build is the first intel I have built for a very long time so I am not really up on the whole i series products but when I was asking the questions the i5 3570K is the one people were telling me to get. And that would be over $100 off on your cost.
