The result was that I could extend my display both through CCC and Windows. The LED indicator even turned blue to let me know it was getting signal. Problem is, the screen was blank.
After trying every combination of monitors and different orders and solution, no dice. I've uninstalled and reinstalled my video card drivers and nothing has changed. I've tried to duplicate all 3 monitors, nothing. Whichever monitor is connected to the adapter is the blank one.
I was afraid the adapter was just a lemon. I ordered another one. So I'm sitting here with the exact same problem on my second active adapter.
The adapter is ATI certified. It says it's single-link DVI-D (though it looks like it has space for dual-link prongs). Do I need a dual-link DVI-D cable?
Windows 8 Pro
MSI Twin Frozr Radeon HD 7850
8 Gigs of RAM
The displays are:
2x ViewSonic VX2433wm
1x Panasonic VIERA TC-P50U50
Did I get another lemon, or is there something I'm missing about making this work?
