Fine-Tuning Settings for Motorola DCT2224 and IR Blaster?

Hello,

I've got a 5040 set up with a Motorola DCT2224 digital cable box via IR
Blaster. (Code 4476) I've only had it a few weeks, and it's been working
great. Until yesterday, the only channel-changing problems I had were
infrequent, and only when I changed channels using the channel + or
channel - keys. All automatic changes during recordings were working fine.
Well I had four recordings set up last night for channel 575, and although
shows three and four recorded fine off channel 575, the first two did not.
The first show got channel 57, and the second show got channel 5.

I've printed out the fine-tuning faqs of the ReplayTV site, but I'm
wondering if anyone can answer a few questions and/or recommend some
fine-tuning settings.

1. Minimum # of digits to send. The faq says that if a single-digit
channel shows up as "5," then I have a single-digit box and should set the
minimum number of digits to send to 1. Even though channel 5, for example,
shows as "5" and not "005," my cable company says I have a three-digit box.
What should I set minimum # of digits to?

2. The other changes recommended by the faq are: entering 0800 for
"pre-command delay" and "0500" or less for "inter-action delay." It says I
might need one or both of these changes. Comments?

3. If I fine-tune the settings for code 4476 and then want to go back to
the default settings, is there an easy way to do this?
