Freelancer to work with joystick insteed of mouse

How do i get freelancer to use my Joystick

It plays realy well with the mouse. Much more control. I was pissed it
did not work with a flightstick but it works even better with a mouse.

I tested those back when Freelancer first came out and this was
a hot issue, and none of those drivers/emulators were a solution..
