2x 660 SC vs 670 FTW+ vs 680?

Hi, I have:
Intel i7 2600
ASRock Extreme9
Corsair AX850 PSU
EVGA 660 SC.

I want to upgrade in the way of graphics, what would be better? Buying another EVGA 660 SC, buying a EVGA 670 FTW+ or buying a 680 (I don't know which yet)
The motherboard supports dual x16 for 2way SLI, and I don't think the power draw would be a problem, which is why I'm considering another 660 not just upgrading
Which would be the best for:
Performance?
Value for money?

Hope you can shed some light on my problem,
Thanks, James:)

  1. I'm building a very similar rig as well. I'm on the fence about getting the 670 FTW or 680. I, too, and interested in what the experienced users have to say about this question.

But I don't think anyone wants to help us :'(
  3. Two gtx 660's is faster than a single gtx 680. I would go with another 660, or sell your current card and buy a 680 or 7970. Also you might want to consider waiting on the next wave of cards from AMD and Nvidia

    So you don't recommend a 670?
And I don't think I'd be able to sell this card for much, I don't know how prices work on 2nd hand PC parts, so I'll probably go with another 660 if not a 670, 680's pushing budget a bit.
Is the 7970 a good value for money card?

  6. Is this a 660 or 660 Ti

Either way, at hi settings either 660 (no Ti) will kick tail against any single card solution from AMD / nVidia

Another 660 SC will cost ya $244 and comes with a copy of Assassin's Creed III .... seems like a "no brainer"..... next option would be a very overclockable 670 such as the Asus DC2 .... though if ya have the Ti version of the 660, I'd take that off the table.
