how do i set up ADSL for a small office. what are the hardware requirements

You can talk to your local phone company about this and what their requirements are.

Generally a phone line, line rental then a contract with an ISP.

Hardware wise either a modem with a router or just a modem router. Most ISP's will supply a modem router as standard. The only other thing you might require is a switch and a few network cables, but it depends on the office.
