I have XP with the sp2. I am not a pc mecanic, but love to play games. I
have downloaded several games, and when I try to start playing I get an Error
Message.
I have sent the problem to Microsoft, they say it is Macromedia, Macromedia
says I have the latest versions of Shockwave and Flash.
So what is the problem? Last night I downloaded from IWin, Magic Vines, it
is installed, but click on the start and get the Error Message.
Thanks for any help.

Are you running as an administrator? (Control Panel / User Accounts).

Paul: I think I was, but I changed everything so now I definetely am. I
think now I have to give a password to get on the computer, maybe I should
have left it alone. Now if I have changed the info, so my name is the "User"
and I am listed as Administrator, will that let me play the game? This is
irratating as I have downloaded this game from another site for trial use,
and it worked. I am beginning to think it had something to do with that Sp2
I added when it was recommended by MicroSoft.
