Ok, so my last thread closed because I bumped it. Sorry about that

I've changed the proccy from intel to amd because I heard that Intel is going to change the socket type in the upcoming haswell cpu's. So is it better to buy an AMD cpu now?

I am aware that it does not support 1600MHz RAM's but I dont think it will make much of a difference to me.

It will work, but just remember that you will have to upgrade in a few years, amd or intel. So i suggest getting the best now. Also, i suggest getting a 7870 XT, basically the best out there for bang for buck.

It is purely for gaming and browsing. No video editing.

Also the PC parts list wont work for me as I am in a very tight budget constraint. I just want to know if this setup will work

Also, can I overclock the cpu, I am getting the normal edition, not the black edition?
