Will this setup work Tags: Homebuilt AMD Intel Systems Product Last response: March 3, 2013 4:51 PM in Systems Share dbaaz March 3, 2013 4:06:42 PM Ok, so my last thread closed because I bumped it. Sorry about that I've changed the proccy from intel to amd because I heard that Intel is going to change the socket type in the upcoming haswell cpu's. So is it better to buy an AMD cpu now? If yes? how about this AMD 3.5 GHz AM3+ FX 8320 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Motherboard http://www.gigabyte.in/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4... NVIDIA Geforce GTX 660 - http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gt... Corsair vs550 550w psu - http://www.corsair.com/us/power-supply-units/vs-series-... I am aware that it does not support 1600MHz RAM's but I dont think it will make much of a difference to me. So i suggest getting the best now. Also, i suggest getting a 7870 XT, basically the best out there for bang for buck. m 0 l camohanna a b B Homebuilt system March 3, 2013 4:44:10 PM Is it for gaming or video editing. It is purely for gaming and browsing. No video editing. Also the PC parts list wont work for me as I am in a very tight budget constraint. I just want to know if this setup will work Also, can I overclock the cpu, I am getting the normal edition, not the black edition? Thanks m 0 l Can't find your answer ? Ask !
