I have a HP / Compaq 9610p Notebook that had Windows Vista installed, but the network adapter wasn't responding correctly, so I had uninstalled Vista and had gotten Windows 7. Some of my drivers aren't working at all such as my built in microphone. The problem I am trying to fix is that when I try and launch downloaded games, such as Killing Floor that I had bought off of Steam when I had Windows Vista, I get an error report stating that Direct3D needs to be enabled in "dxdiag", yet I have no clue how to do that. My confusion is with how my graphics card isn't reading correctly now, & when I had Vista, my graphics card ran perfectly. A response as soon as possible would be much appreciated. Thank you for your time.
