Are you running CPUFSB? It will cause Sandra crashes.

I thought a thought, but the thought I thought wasn't the thought I thought I had thought.

Which operating system are you using? Windows 9x/ME have trouble with more than 512MB of memory installed. You can fix this with Cacheman 5.11. Get it at http://www.outertech.com.

You can test to see if the above problem is what you are experiencing by reducing memory to 512MB.

Read about the 512MB limitation below.

hmmm
sounds like a memory problem

i suggest you find and download MEMTEST86
then run it and let it loop a few times.
great for detecting memory errors.

if you DO find errors, run each stick by itself to work out which one is bad.

Overclocked athlon 1200C @ 8.5 x 166FSB + PC2700 = GOOD!

CPUFSB is a small utility by Wolfram Podien that runs in Windows and allows many motherboards to be overclocked even without a BIOS or jumper option. It works great, but it usually needs to be unloaded before running apps that query the same hardware it uses to perform the configuration change (Sandra, CPUID, etc.). If the utility is configured correctly, the PC will maintain its overclocked state even after CPUFSB is unloaded.

Since you didn't know what it is, I assume you aren't running it.

I thought a thought, but the thought I thought wasn't the thought I thought I had thought.
