Hello all...

I just ordered a new rig to upgrade my existing PC. New specs are as follows:

GIGABYTE x79-UD3 Mobo
Intel Core i7 3820 Socket 2011 (sandybridge-E) CPU
16 gigs G.Skill Ripjaws series Quad-channel kit
2x Evga Geforce GTX 680 FTW (2048mb RAM edition) in SLI
Corsair H100i Liquid CPU Cooler

and various HDD and 1 SDD for storage.

My question is...with all this new powerful hardware, will my existing Antec 1000w PSU
be enough to handle it?

Yes your antec can handle the system without a problem.
Since Antec is known to produce some quality PSU, I don't think there will be a problem with lower amp ratings.

Yes it should be more than enough assuming that it can output around 8-900W

this is kinda a silly question. you would only need a 650watt power supply to feed that MAX.

so yes you are good to go.

You kidding me, broski? You are set with 750W.

Personal opinion....go Corsair. :)

If you where using a GTX4xx series SLI maybe not, but being that Nvidia was very consious of the environment, you wont need anymore than 675w to power SLI 6xx series cards.
