Weird Blue Vertical on the monitor

So i have this Display problem, i think its Graphical related issue, on my monitor there is a vertical blue lines moving down, ive tried everything update drivers both for monitor and graphic card. here's the weird part when i unplug every cable ( graphic card cable, hdmi cable, and onboard mobo cable ) from my monitor and leave just the power cord itself inserted, i still get the lines. so its the monitor who is making this issue.. here is the picture

  3. If the monitor is under warranty, send it in to get fixed. I had the same issue with my old Viiewsonic 22".

P.S. I hope you can get your hands on a spare monitor. My was gone for five weeks.
  4. Yea agreed looks like dead pixels there is no real fix for it. I found this and it may be of assistance but I would keep an eye out for a new monitor.

  5. I dont know about that, i mean i had this monitor for like 5 months or so
  6. I think I had mine for about eight months before it developed a 2mm purple line about three inches from the right edge of the screen. Hardware fails. There's no getting around it. It's really just a game of tech roulette, but the odds are much more in our favor. You and I were just the unlucky ones.
