Anyone knows of a program ( free preferably ) that can be used to change the look of explorer... a bit like in linux. Like having multiple workspaces and doc apps.. ??

Maybe you could use <A HREF="http://www.windowblinds.net" target="_new"> Window Blinds </A> or <A HREF="http://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/" target="_new"> DesktopX </A>...

For multiple desktops, <A HREF="http://www.ministars.com/ed/" target="_new">Effective Desktop</A> does just that with WindowsX. I haven't tried it personally, but it was featured in Lockergnome, so it should be good. Compatible with Win9x/2K/XP.
