Pc randomly shuts down or freezes

hi i have a problem my computer rig keeps shutting down freezing or resetting at random intervals or when i run a system rating when it gets to checking cpu performance just wondered if anyone had any input system specs re as follows


GIGABYTE Motherboard GA-Z68X-UD3-B​3
I5 3330 processor
KINGSTON 8Gb (4 x 2Gb ) DDR3 1333Mhz MEMORY
Windows 7 ultimate 64bit ed
160 gig windows hard drive
500gb games
250gb other

What psu do you have? Have you had this computer for a while and it's just started or did you recently put it together and this is what's happening? Might be a weak psu, might be a heating problem, have you overclocked? might need to reset the bios to default.

i have a 1000w modular psu had it since end of 2011 begining 2012 had board a processors since jan 2013

What are your CPU temps under load?

It seems to be an overheating problem. Check your temps.
