I am having trouble connecting a desktop tower (via pci express) with a video card that can display on the following specs:

Monitors: Dual Dell UltraSharp U2711 27”

Resolution:
2560 x 1440 at 60 Hz
has to be either displayport or dual-link dvi
I want to display 2560x1440 on dual monitors from this one tower.
-1 displays 2560x1440 and the other at 2560x1440

Found out that nativity the hdmi input for these displays will only go 1080p.

Things i've tried:
EVGA 02G-P3-1527-KR GeForce GT 520 Video Card - 2048MB - does 1 at 2560 x 1440 and the other at 1080p

I know I could do a ATI Radeon HD 5770 and that would work, but I don't want to pay that much yet.

Does anyone know of a better way to achieve this?

You have $1500 worth of monitors and are worried about spending $50 on a graphics card?  :pt1cable:

You just need any relatively modern GPU (6670/7750/GTX 650/etc) with a DL-DVI + DP or a couple of mini-DP ports. Lots of the newer Radeon cards have two mini-DP ports.

Anyways, here's my recommendation assuming you aren't planning on playing any games (I'm fairly certain that DVI port is DL-DVI):

Thanks for the quick turnaround on that. I couldn't find one with a fan option. Do you happen to know one that has a fan option by chance?

Not exactly going to used for gaming, and I issue is I will be buying 10+ video cards.

Looks pretty solid though.

Thanks!
