Expert Advice needed

Hi Guys

I am a rookie with GPU's (no idea about specs)
I have a Rig with following config:

Motherboard: AsRock z77 Extreme4
Processor: Intel Core i5 3550 (3rd gen)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance (1600) 4GB X 2
HDD: Seagate Barracuda SATA3 (6Gbps) 2TB ST2000DM001 (7200.14)
PSU: Cooler Master Thunder 500W (6 SATA connec
Monitor: Samsung 20" (wide) LED (with VGA and DVI) 1600 X 900

I plan to play latest games like COD Black Ops 2.
Budget for my GPU is about 170$

Please suggest whether I should buy single GPU or do a CrossFire / SLI in this budget.

Also, suggest the GPU models I should consider.

Get gtx 650ti or hd 7850 by raising your buget.both card will able to max games at that resolution.
