Powercolor 7850, possible gem?

Hello all, I am new to the forums but nowhere near new to PC's, I have built 3 computers in the last half year alone but I have run into question or two.
1.) First off I have the Powercolor HD7850, core clock at 860Mhz Memory at 1200Mhz (Just as most stock 7850's are clocked) My question is something of an oddity, See even at a mild overclock my card seems to perform extremely well.

Question: Are these reports normal for a 7850?
1920x1080 Resolution
--FarCry 3 Ultra settings never below 48 FPS
--Crysis 2 with HD texture mod and Ultra settings i get a solid 45-70 FPS
--Metro 38-59 FPS (OC to 925 core 1250 memory)
--Borderlands 2 Highest settings with medium physx enabled 70FPS (never really drops below 60 except for in the mine tunnels, which apparently was not coded very well)
--Any other game ive tried never drops below 55 FPS at highest settings possible (star wars force unleashed 2, Dishonored, Borderlands 1, Bioshock 2, Crysis 1 Hires texture pack, and some more)

Eyefinity triple monitor setup at resolution of 3840x1024
--FarCry3 highest settings never went below 38 FPS
--Dishonored highest settings never went below 58 FPS

The thing about this that I am having a problem with is that I knew the 7850 was powerful but I'm darn near sure its not supposed to be performing as well as how my card performs. As far as my temperatures go the card has literally never gone over 58C and idles as a cool 22C (after i applied my own TIM). With that being said I would like to gather opinions from others with a 7850 to see feedback. The main concern here is if I go happen to have a "Gem" for a 7850 (by meaning that I purchased a 7850 but got a higher end card's performance due to supply amounts on AMD's part) will this effect my desire to purchase a second 7850 and crossfire? Would a crossfire setup with a 7850 that perhaps is not of the "Gem" status actually decrease overall performance? Thank you guys for your help, sorry for the long post

Those results are absolutely normal for that card.
So you can crossfire another hd 7850 without a problem.

actually many people are reporting poor performance with 7850 crossfire. higher average fps, but fps dips lower than with a single card. same old crossfire story, inconsistant fps.

Lol. Those results are not normal at all...Toms benched Far Cry 3 with a 7970 and didn't achieve the FPS you're getting. You absolutely got a gem. I think you'd be lucky to get another 7850 and see that kind of performance.

use gpuz to check the GPU properties and see if they match up with the actual AMD specs. like number of stream processors, ram speed etc. I doubt there would be anything different from your 7850 than any other 7850. Probably just different settings. Benchmarks posted on websites are only from a particular part of a game, so its hard to compare, they are also often done on old driver versions and old versions of games. I can tell you that for your crysis 2 bench i get probably a little higher fps with my gtx660, i dont think i've ever dropped below 50fps with ultra details, hires texture pack, dx11 on, 1080p, so your 7850 is probably about right there, its slightly slower than my gtx660 which fits in with site reviews/benches.

Okay thats what i thought, ive talked with a few people who also have a reference 7850 and one who had the twin frozr and they both agreed that i had a odd circumstance with the performance lol, Im not sure what i am going to do as far as crossfire goes
