Network drive name changed

i had my network computer which mapped a network drive from another computer on network. Some how the other comuter name has been changed to different one. I have re mapped the software from other computer and now i can not install that software again and comes with error 1606 saying network path e.g \\kamal\c\planit can not be connected . I have deleted the software from the regs in windows in my computer but still comes with error saying cant install software network drive \\kamal\c\planit cant be found can someone help and advise how i can change this path to newly mapped drive setup
