Liquid Cooler Tubes are touching GPU

Hey guys,
I recently got a smaller case. Everything is up and running without a problem.

I have an antec kuhler 620 closed loop liquid cooler and one of the tubes of it is just touching the back of my gtx 680, the pcb.

Is there anything to worry about?

I wouldn't think it would be a problem. Perhaps you can change the orientation of the cooler so that the tubes don't touch in such a way, or lift the tubes a little with a tactical cable tie.

Prefilled loops aren't really my area of expertise i'm afraid. Like I said I don't see why it would be a problem though.

As what marshallbradley said, shouldn't really be a problem considering that *from my none experience* I dont think cpu liquid coolers tube get moist/a little moisture to the touch so I dont think that would affect the GPU with that bit of moisture but Im not sure if they do that or not, but try to orient your tubes further up. What case do you have so I can kind of get an idea of what you're working with and cable tie positions.

Hard case to work with but I would think just cable tie both of the tubes. (I dont think this will affect performance by making the wires closer together) And then that should take them away from your gpu. My 2 cents. Try it out and see if it works.

That's crazy! (In a good way :D ) I am running an i73820 at stock clocks. i stress test because i dont trust myself, when i build a pc myself, i feel as though ive missed something important.

All good thats a good way to test if everythings secured in there and thermals are good. The 620 is a great cooler. At stock clocks you'll be doing just fine! Maybe even a modest overclock wont change temps too much.

Stress testing went well. CPU maxed at about 60. GPU just hit 80 (normal for reference I hear) so all good!

Thanks for the reply regarding the tubing. I just pulled them together and they stayed :p it is a compact case. My desk has a tower cut out with plenty depth and height but limited width, or else I'd have a 650d!
