PCI-e slot, is it even worth crossfire?

I currently have a single HD7850 occupying the only PCI-e x16 slot on my motherboard, the second slot is x16 length but only runs at x4 mode, is it even worth crossfiring on this board, or will it be bottlenecked beyond belief
