I'm building my PC in a couple of days, my question is, should I skip using the driver CDs from the mobo and GPU?
I've already downloaded all the the latest ones, so will using the CDs be of any benefit to me?
Also, is there any specific order I should use, out of:
Mobo - Chipset
- LAN
- Audio
- USB3
And the specific drivers for my GPU (XFXHD7770DD edition)

And then extraneous stuff like my Wifi Adapter and let Windows Update do its thing?

I would manually install all your drivers from a USB drive. I do mean ALL of your drivers. Chipset is first, the rest can go in any order (though USB would make the most sense so you could make use of the USB 3 if you have any). I would restart your PC in between each driver (overkill maybe, but still the best way). I would also download Microsoft security essentials (or other antivirus program) to that USB drive and install that as well. I would do all of this prior to connecting to the internet. Once you have all of that done, do the windows update. If you are using win8, you already have MSE.
