HELP WITH SERVER

Hey guys,
Im thinking about building my first server.
Are there any profitable things I can do with a server.
And what are the minimum requirements for it. I.e ram, storage, cpu and mobo.

You can store your files, run programs, host internet sites, run your own email service. Google seems to make some money with their servers. Just do what they do.... Hehehe.

Ya but i dont know if its fast enough, all it has is a phenom ii x4 920 with 8gb ddr2 clcoked at 800mhz on a asus m3n78-vm. I was thinking maybe a minecraft server but is that profitable?
