Get a cheaper motherboard. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157293

Get a 7970, it's cheaper, equal performance and comes with Crysis 3 and Bioshock infinite for for free. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202008

Get a 128GB SSD. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=20-227-915&ParentOnly=1 apparently it's the fastest on the market atm. Or get a samsung 840 pro.

Good air cooler. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608016 I wouldn't suggest buying a closed liquid loop. If you want to watercool your pc, get a custom liquid cooling system.

You can save some $$ and get windows 8 non pro. You most likely won't need the extra features for a gaming pc.

I can say drop to a 650W PSU or w/e, but i'll encourage the 750W because it's XFX, fully modular and gold rated. And you might need the extra headroom for later.

Main thing that stands out is the CPU cooler. For a water cooling system it really doesn't cool that well. Most decent air coolers will beat it.

If you really want to go water, look into:
Corsair H100i
NZXT Kraken X40
Thermaltake Water2.0 Extreme

For air cooling:
Noctua NH-D14
Phanteks PH-TC14PE

As said above, you would see better performance from a HD7970 GPU. But I know some people just flat out prefer Nvidia.

- Cut down on the PSU
- Switched to the Gigabyte Windforce 3X
- Dropped the H50
- Switched SSD to the fastest on the market: OCZ Vector
- Chose less expensive motherboard
