I am wondering what your opinions are on the 670 (the one linked in the description it's a reference design) versus a 660ti that is overclocked. The price for the 660ti's that are overclocked are very close or the same to the 670 that is a reference design.

Any of the 660ti's listed above are what I would be comparing the one 670 to. I do realize that these are also the 3gb versions (except for the last one which is only 2gb. To repeat myself, I am just wondering which of these graphics cards is the best buy. Thank you in advanced for your advice.

PNY isn't a particularly good manufacturer. Although the 670 will outclass anything else, I don't think it's worth the greater risk of having to RMA the card, possibly multiple times.

That being said, the 660ti has memory bandwidth issues, so the 3GB card has absolutely no benefit over the 2GB model - even on larger resolutions, which is the only time it has a benefit anyways.

How far are you going to be overclocking this thing? Of those models, I'd get them in this order of preference: MSI, Galaxy, Gigabyte, EVGA. (Though if there's a EVGA signature 2 model of the 660ti, I'd get that.)

EDIT: Also, the 670 is a fair bit better than the 660ti in gaming... Just saying.

In terms of what you should get, however, I would HIGHLY recommend...

Okay. I agree with the fact that PNY is a particularly unliked supplier because of having to RMA and just bad manufacturing problems. I did not know about the memory bandwidth issue with the 660ti's so I will avoid the 3gb versions because since they are more expensive and like what you guys have been saying, not effective. That particular Asus graphics card looks very nice and I will certainly consider that one. I definitely am aware that the 670 is better, but the amount of money that I would have to put down for a 670 that is worth buying would be 70-80 dollars so unless the price goes down, I am thinking about going with the 660ti (possibly the Asus one). Thank you for your answer it has been very helpful.

What about ASUS darksable there directuII cards are pretty sweet. And I agree with PNY they have been on sale for a while the 670 reference card and it makes me a bit weary about recommending them. The way I see is this a 670 is a stronger value longevity wise. If you are looking for the best value now the 660Ti will fit the bill. I just saw you recommended the ASUS card woot was worried for a sec :p The 670 is the superior chip however I wouldn't buy just any card at a random price I would want a card that is reliable from a company I can rely on and PNY idk always seems to have cheap cards that has issues. I had a gosh what was it 8800GT from them and I ended up with crazy artifacts and then my card would just start with them card was perfectly fine cooling wise and when I tried to return it with PNY they just told me that because it had a mail in rebate I wasn't able to RMA it.
IF you you going to get a cheap 670 I would get a EVGA card because at least then you would have the peace of mind that the company will back you 110%

You can't go wrong with the ASUS cards cooling wise they are silent and are quite cool check out this video you may need a hearing aid to hear squat. It's a 670 video however the cooler design and fans work the same.

That video was funny I could not hear anything with my speakers on max. That's amazing how quiet it runs.

Yeah, that's the only thing I regret about buying one of the original FTW editions... I couldn't find a TOP anywhere. XP

But I actually would recommend buying a 670 - I can max out basically any game at 120 fps, and haven't met a single game I can't max at 60fps. Mind you, that's with an overclock, but it is on a reference cooler - an aftermarket cooled 670 will blow your mind.
