Hi, I am new to notebooks and your site. I have a HP Pavilion g7-1219wm Notebook PC. I've only had it for maybe 2 yrs. Recently I have been getting the BSOD that talks about a display driver and the atikmpag,sys. I am a novice and I don't know what to do next. The first 3 or 4 BSODs I just went back into windows 7 home OS. This last time it did not ask me to boot in windows normally or give me the list of Safe Mode options so I just shut it off and back on. I'm afraid it's going to fail soon. I don
't know how to edit the registry and I'm not sure how to do the complete driver uninstall/install.
The computer properties say its an AMD E-40 APU processor with a Radeon HD graphics 1.65 Ghz. I have used the software CCleaner64 but I heard I really can't trust any of the registry cleaners without knowing how to use the registry so I'm afraid. Can someone give me some guidelines and instructions as to where to start?
