he isnt getting a futureistic looking case at this budget. the for the price difference between the z11 and the 200R, i can pick up a new game or a slightly higher end video card. the z5 plus isnt that good either with very little cabling room. LEDs will also cost him for nothing gained

You downgraded the cpu(less clock speed and h77 motherboard) and gpu :(

The z5 plus is a decent case, if he wants a flashy case, let him have it ;)

the odds of 200mhz ever effecting your gameplay is never. good luck with that. and you are complaining about this when your 3350p is 100mhz faster. seems legit

why the heck would he need z77 if he wont be overclocking? there is no difference between the 2 chipsets besides that fact

as for the video card, it depends what games you play. if you are going to play borderlands 2 or crysis 3 mainly, go ahead with the 660ti. otherwise a 7950 performs about the same as 670

I just made a similar 800$ build today, here's what i recommend :

See this : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/I971
Total: $316.96
The price of the ram will increase soon.
Get the rest in ncix us(it's a trusted website, you'll get free shipping with 100$ or more in the cart), since it's cheaper :

Case : http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=76376&promoid=1276
HDD : http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=74462&promoid=1276
PSU : http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=59615&promoid=1257
GPU : http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=75685&promoid=1276

games benefit more from a powerful GPU rather than a CPU to a certain degree. therefore a i5 3330 with a 7950 or a 660ti is a way better choice than a i5 3570k with a 650ti

Get the sniper ram, it has a combo discount : http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1225536&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=
Plus the promo code.
Get the xfx psu, the corsair 200R case, hdd and the 660 ti Asus in ncix us, it goes cheaper there, it's a trusted website, don't worry.

Stick with this : See this : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/I971

The corsair CX is made by channel well, the xfx is made by seasonic, the xfx has more quality, the CX is the entry level series of the corsair psus, it's a decent psu but the xfx is cheaper, the 660 ti is also cheaper in ncix us.
The corsair 200r is also cheaper, the hdd in newegg is sold out.

-no reason for z77. you cant overclock anyways
-id rather get a kit of viper 3s for 38.50 at us.ncix
-corsair 200R is a much better case
-the cx series are pretty bad. id suggest the xfx even though its not modular. at least its higher quality

The viper is out of stock and at 65$.
I didn't notice it was the z77 pro 3, op get the z75 pro 3, it's cheaper, it's just 77$, it has 4 dimm slots, all the features that you need and you can also overclock the ram or cpu(raise it more 400 mhz).
If you order more than 100$, you'll get free shipping, just order it from us site.
