APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: A week or two.

BUDGET RANGE: About $150 tops. After Rebates

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming (Assassins Creed, Minecraft, Battlefield 3 and Hitman), Adobe PS, Sony Vegas, Adobe Media Encoder.

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: (e.g., ATI Radeon HD 4850 and Corsair 750TX 750W PSU - Rosewill Stallion Series 400W http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
I currently use Intel 2000 Graphics on a Pentium T4500. (laptop)

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: (e.g., make/model of CPU, MoBo, memory - ATX case (NZXT Guardian), i3-2105, PCI-E 3.0 Mobo, 8gb 1600 ram, 500gb 7200 hdd.

PARTS PREFERENCES: Perferably EVGA but, if there is a much better choice I'm willing to. But Only NVidia

OVERCLOCKING: Yes / No / Maybe SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1980x1080

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Wondering which would be better. Would be good to save a couple bucks and get the 650. But I want the better performer.

obviously the ti. the 6 to 11 more fps you get from that might mean the difference of playing "good", for lack of a better word, and not playing good.

The ti provides the better value of the 650's mainly because you get a higher cuda core count and that will make a difference at that level of card. I also agree with the notion that EVGA would be the way to go at the lower end of the spectrum card wise you really don't need a card with a awesome cooler. EVGA makes amazing reference cards and support them with great customer support and warranties. EVGA is also really easy to deal with and I would prefer dealing with them then any other video card manufacture purchasing quite a few cards with them.
Off the top of my head.
1.8800GTS 320mb
2. x2 560Ti's
3. evga fx5200.
