I am making a custom build, specifically for gaming purposes. Because my job is low paying (like 160 a week) and I am very impatient, I would like it to be as cheap as possible.
I want to run Battlefield 3 on high at around 60fps, call of duty maxed (shouldn't be a problem, because if it can run battlefield, running cod will be like opening notepad lol) and even some games on high such as Skyrim etc. (I want a mix of games, not just fps, I'm not an fps fanboy). Cooling is a big thing! I want the computer to last and not overheat after about 4 hrs of constant gaming (I have no life, so gaming is a s social as I get haha). I can leave room for upgrades in the future (like only getting an ssd, then getting a hdd later. And if it's a possibility, getting one gpu, then adding another to improve fps like crossfire or sli).
I kind of have a build going, just needs a psu. Completely open for improvements :)
P.S. I live in Aus, so keep that in mind when adding shipping etc.

Oh wow. But with the motherboard, will it being micro atx, be harder for myself to upgrade in the future? And not being offensive here, do the parts work well together? Like sockets, speeds etc. Last time I posted on a different forum, someone just picked random parts and didn't take into account for compatibility, with the psu as well. Thank you for the help :)

$180 gets you a 7850 1GB which will trash that 650ti

Yes, but the mobo has crossfire support, which will help for me to upgrade in the future, just by buying another GPU. Instead of spending more in the future. Unless a different mobo is in the equation, then sli. I kind of want the parts to work well with eachother, rather than just work. If you know what I mean?

Nvidia used SLI in 2004 after they bought 3dfx which developed it (nvidia of course modififed it)

AMD released CFX in 2005, an in house development

Doesn't matter which one came out first or last, what matters is what they do now with it

I personally go Intel CPU with AMD GPU as you can see. I require a threshold of performance and look for the best price/perf parts above that threshold, who ever can offer the best bang per buck

You'll run right into the 7870 at the 660 price point and the 7870 eeks out an win over the 660
