I got a 32" TV and tried to plug it in with my other two monitors and unknowingly got a passive mini display port to HDMI adapter and while having my two other monitors plugged in i cannot have all three screens active at once, as in one main screen and two extended. Both monitors are DVI and the TV has HDMI. I've come to conclusion that i need an active mini display to HDMI adapter.

My question however is will this work? Have the TV as an extended "monitor" and the other two without active all at the same time, as it stands right now i can only have two active because Catalyst Control Center tells me to disable a monitor to enable the other.

Which of these two adapters should i buy?

Thanks in advance.

The first one looks like another passive and the 2nd one is active, you need the active one and you should be good to go on all 3.
