Building Mid Range Gaming PC AMD FX 6100 ?

Hello,

I am building a gaming PC on a budget. 700 after taxes before rebates.

Going to purchase ASAP

I have chosen most of the components but am stuck on the video card.

So far my build is:

thermaltake TR-500 Tr2 ATX Power Supply -500W

WD 1TB HD

ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ Motherboard

AMD FX-6100 3.3 GHz six core am3+ unlocked processor

2 x 4gb Adata memory

I've done most of my shopping on tigerdirect.ca

I can be persuaded if you can find me some better bang for my buck. I got the processor, motherboard and ram in a bundle. I was going to go with windows 7 even though it is more expensive. I have heard about alot of problems with 8 and games. Again any thoughts may persuade me.

There are a couple of psu's called the tr2 . None are brillian . One is REALLY bad . A link would help

The mb is great .

Use an FX 6300 . Its an improved more efficient model

There are no problems with win 8 and games . A little tweaking and adding a start button with a free program like classic shell and you have a better OS

Don't get FX 6100, get FX 6300 as Outlander_04 suggested...

edit : Just make sure your mobo had the (latest) BIOS to support the FX 6300

Budget is a concern the 6100 comes in a bundle with the mobo and ram
what card do I go with though the GT 620 or 6570
