i agree you should wait for the new series!but in real Hasswell is no way going to give the ultimate performance!the 4770k is no better than the 3770k!it only carries a bunch of new technologys!i am not so sure about their performance and the difference with the 1155 socket!they are more based on a lower power consumption!very difference with the FX series!

It will def be an upgrade, but IB to HW is going to be less then 10% more power. The 3570k will be around for years to come. You gotta think, GPU bound gaming is on the rise due to CPU power growing much slower then the GPU power.

Long story short, 3570k.

I had taken a step away from gaming for the last couple years, so I by no means have a viable computer to play on. Waiting would be the least pleasant option, but I have been away from gaming for this long that I suppose I could still wait.
