Avoid the ultra power supply; it's rated at 100% load; a good brand will be rated at about 80%. Go with corsair, antec (my favorite), ocz, enermax, seasonic, or xfx.
The second biostar board will apparantly post with your cpu; some older boards won't work without a bios flash. The 990fx boards are better, but cost more. Sorry I can't recommend any stuff from tiger direct; newegg simply has a much better selection.

o1die is right with the power supply. For a motherboard for the cost, for the components and quality i like the gigabyte Ga-970a-ud3 with its 8+2 power phase thats usually used in higher ends boards for amd more specific the 990fx chipset. Has heatsinks on vtrs, nb and sb. Not the best color scheme but its good. Also like the asus M5A97 R2 board, similar to the gigabyte one but without the 8+2 i beleive like 4+2 but still good. Power phase has to do with power delivery and the 8+2 is the best for overclocking beside higher lol but if it can overclock good and ur not its still quality the gigabyte is only $10 more than the asus and i think the highest costing 970 chipset board and the asus is $95.

Getting an open boxed board isnt a bad option can get a asus sabertooth 990fx for like $135, i got one paired with an 8150 has not had an issue, and have not with any open box board i got from newegg

I like the XFX out of thoses two the most, but u can get a corsair cx600watt m psu for $80 and its partial modular, but the xfx may have slightly higher quality

Cooler master isnt as bad as ultra but look for a corsair cx 430/500, usd$40-60. Bronze certified is nice to have as again it implies some kind of quality and efficiency etc, not every bronze certified psu is good but heres a list of psus on quality in tiers. - http://www.eggxpert.com/forums/thread/323050.aspx

The 970A-UD3 is a great board its the one i mentioned above, has the 8+2 power phase, heatsinks, which in turn implies quality, for the cost its a good deal. Id say for overclocking capability on that board i would compare to a $140 990fx board
