Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section, I could not find a category that relates to DVI/VGA/Interfaces or monitors. So I posted this here becasue this issue is related to DVI and analouge monitors.
I have a media player that has a S-Video, RCA, and DVI video interface. I have a spare VGA monitor that I don't really need so I want to connect the monitor to the DVI-I interface in the media player via an DVI-to-VGA adapter. The DVI interface in the media player has the four extra holes for analouge DVI. The adapter has DVI-A pins. Of course in theory it IS possible, but since this is not a PC I want to know for sure.
