To cross fire or not to cross fire

I have a saph 7870. I want to either get another and xfire or a new card. Any good ideas.

I would look at your situation and the frames you are currently experiencing and based on that if you really feel that its necessary then yes it may be a possibility but my guess is adding a second one would be unnecessary for you. What does your setup look like

I play alot of Planetside 2, far cry3 and will be getting many of the new games that will be coming out. I am also wanting to get something that will not need to be updated for a while.

And do you play on a single screen? If so I would wait till the games you play give you trouble before wanting 2 cards.

Yea I play on my TV. 120 Hz 52 LED

Yea I would wait honestly, if you feel that your frames are suffering after a point you can then upgrade up to a CF configuration or quite possibly do to the time it would take to get there get a newer gen card.
