Hello everybody,

I recently bought a nokia 3220, and was trying to
activate gprs connection on it. So, I sent an SMS
to my service provider (Airtel) and received a
configuration settings file. Though I saved the file,
the file was not recognized by my nokia 322. I don't
know what to do with the file now.

However, I do have the details for setting up the
GPRS connection, but the problem is, I cannot seem to
find a way to set it up manually.

Could you please help me out?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,
Santanu Chatterjee

Hi,
With Hutch, the sms is "GPRS N3220" to be sent to 123. Whereas, for
most other phones, it is "GPRS". This will ensure that the proper
settings file is obtained. I don't know if airtel has a similar way to
get the settings.
The best way would be to take the phone to the nearest airtel
showroom. They usually have someone who's crazy about phones and
competent enough to configure it for you.
