Hey all I recently updated a Tablet PC to Windows 8 x64 and am having driver issues

Mostly, I have NO IDEA what GPU is in this machine.

It is an oldish (~5yrs) machine, but it worked fine on W7.

I AMD's driver detector can't find out what it is, and Gateway doesn't have my model on their website anymore.

Model: S-7235C or TA7 (it says both on the bottom.)

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo T7500

RAM: 2GB

At the moment it is using the basic Microsoft Drivers and I am stuck at 1024x768 resolution.

The only information at all I can find on the GPU is when I go to

Screen Resolution>Advance Settings>Adapter

Says Chip type is ATI ATOMBIOS.

I came up with nothing on Google.

Any help at all is appreciated.

I am pretty sure it is too old to be on Windows 8. What i mean is that most of the laptops that came out for vista or xp don't have drivers for 7 (same thing in invert) so they might not even exist on W8. Get a new one or go back to W7.
