Hey, I have some questions. My computer broke down recently, and as I am out of cash for the moment, I'm putting together a very, very low budget pc. But I don't know if my choice on components is really good, I'm kind of a noob when it comes to building computers.

So this is what I picked out: (I already have a case and a hdd, so that's not an issue)

Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-M LX3,sAM3+
PSU: Cooler Master Elite Power 460WATT
CPU: AMD FX-6100 Black Edition, sAM3+
Videocard: Asus HD6670,1GB GDDR5
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3,1600-8GB
CPU FAN: Cooler Master Hyper TX3 EVO

It's a temporary solution, but I would like it to run for at least 1.5 year,so I can get enough money together for a high end system.

I don't game a lot, some Skyrim from time to time but that's about it. I do use some pretty heavy mathematical software, that enplanes my choice for the multicore cpu. Is that a right assumption?

The fx-6100 is kind of a dog, I'd honestly recommend anything but the 6100 (or 4100).

After rebate deals put the far superior 7750 within a few bucks of the 6670, so that's what I'd pick

If you go 7750, you only need a 300-350w PSU.

What's your budget?

I could go for the Corsair CX 430WATT or the
Cooler Master GX 500WATT Lite with a slight increase of budget,if its that much better. What's the advaced amount of Watt my PSU should have? Because for the same price I can get a Antec VP Power 350WATT, but that's a bit light I think..

The FX6300 is about $30 more then the 6100, is it worth the difference?

6100 is slower than the old Phenoms. So if $130 is too much, drop to a Phenom II X4 965

Well, I could change the PSU to the Corsair VS 350WATT, and the CPU to the FX-6300, and the videocard to the Asus HD7750 V2,1GB. That takes me to a total of $490 with really is my maximum now

Do this. It will be decently better.

I was going to suggest something similar. Honestly, since he said he already has the case and HDD, maybe a GTX 650 Ti and a i5.

I live in Belgium, and I'm not really comfortable ordering such delicate electronics from so far a way. It will also ginve me massive shipping taxes I guess.

I all ready found the cheapest store in Belgium here, so I that's where I'll get all my components, although they are still a bit more expensive than newegg or amazon..

But all the tips have been very useful! My thanks for that!!

Yeah, I know some people who ordered parts from the US, but I find it a bit tricky, specially with the warranty and stuff..

But thanks for all the help! I will choice the Corsair 350W psu now, and the FX6300 in stead of the 6100. Ans the HD7750 in stead of the 6670.

It just fits in my budget, so I think that's about the best I can get with that kind of money now.

Thanks again!

upgrade the psu otherwise if u want to have bigger graphics card later you will have to upgrade psu go to 750watt if possible but defetly over a 450 because it wont run any type of decent card and dosnt have a pcie adapter.

NO. A good 450w PSU will run this no problem. 750w is more than enough to SLI high end cards. It would be VERY overkill for this system.

That will be a pretty nice system. fx6300 is a very fast processor and 7750 can play most games very well at slightly reduced settings.
