Can't Uninstall 2 Games

My son wants to play 2 games Stronghold Crusaders and Empire Earth but, we
can't get them to play . When I tried to uninstall both games I get error "
the supported file could not be installed, could not find file". They do show
up in my add/remove programs and when I do a search they are there. Therefore
I want to just uninstall them and reinstall them and maybe that would work.
Can anyone tell me how to go about this?

Happy Birthday!! Okay I followed your instructions and when I hold down the
F8 key nothing happens. Besides Isnt there another way to go about it besides
installing RegCleaner? I would prefer not to. Patty

My son has played this game before so I know my video adapters support
direct 3d so now how do I
Verify that your video adapter supports Direct 3D, and then verify that you
are using the most current drivers for your video adapter?

Ya I think once I get these uninstalled they are gone......Yes I have tried
to resolve the issues they suggested and no such luck. Patty
