Actually the case is a good one, i would take it over the cm 430 or 431, the nzxt classic is a good case, not some crappy one, like those apevia, diablotek,etc brands.

For the price i recommend it in the past, without counting rebates, it's one of the cheapest and good value cases out there.
Of course there're better out there, but i was trying to keep about 600$ without rebates, still goes a bit over since the motherboard and hdd got more expensive.
The gigabyte motherboard is actually a good one for a budget motherboard, it can support any FX cpu(and really support the 125W cpus, unlike other many matx budget am3+ motherboards, and supports the FX-6300 without problems) :

Of course, if the op has more to spend it will be better, to have a 970/990FX chipset motherboard, a Corsair 200R/300R or Fractal Design R4, a FX-8320, an aftermarket cooler, a 7870XT or 660 ti...
