Hello guys,

Sorry in advance if my question has already been posed.

For my work, and working as a trader, i will need to mount an 8 screens computer. I am not an expert on the hardware side thats why i need your input.

Right now, i am planning to buy 2 cards like this one :

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127709

I am told that each card can support 4 screens. These cards have crossfire and eyefinity feature.

Do you think it will suffice to get my 8 screens with these 2 cards? I got to read about splitter on the net, is that useful in my situation. Note that my work will be just about mathematical calculations, charts, newsfeed, videos for Bloomberg or CNBC.

My computer will have these features

Processor : INTEL CORE I5-3450
Motherboard : MSI Z77A-G45
RAM : 12G
Will these be compatible with the cards?

One last thing there is no mention of VGA port in the card specs? Is that normal?

Thank you very much

D

No. That card will only run three displays for a total of six. I suggest two of this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127664. To get four displays though, I believe one LCD must have native display port. Check AMDs site for more info on the 7770. Six would be much easier to run as you could do it off of one card like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131474 or this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814195115.

Thank you Maestro0428.

Problem with the first URL you pasted, instead of giving one card, its providing me with a list with this message :

"We apologize for the inconvenience, but the item you are looking for has been deactivated. Here are some similar products that you may wish to consider:"

Do you have another site where i could see the card?

Thanks very much

One more thing, you are right, one screen would be my "source" screen and i will distribute the other screens with the applications i would be running...

Thank you

Thanks Emerald.

Yes i guess.

I thought i would connect one screen on HDMI, one on the classic por ( display port) and using the adaptor you mentionned on the DVI Port. Is that correct?

Thanks

Hello Guys,

I am still struggling to find an affordable card which can support 4 screens each in order to equipe my trading station.

Could you tell me if i am on the right path with these following specs?

I have still a motherboard and processor of this kind :

Processor : INTEL CORE I5-3450
Motherboard : MSI Z77A-G45

I would like to install a graphic card like this :

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121442&Tpk=EAH6670%2fDIS%2f1GD5

Would this suffice for 4 screens and will it be compatible with the MSI motherboard?

Thank you very much
