In a money budget issue with my computer, is it really worth paying 100 dollars for the gtx 670 4 ddr5? Give or take its about that much. I will be using 3 monitors though is the issue. Anyone shed some light on this?

if you use 3 monitors the 4gb version of gtx 670 will be better but still for 3 monitors the gtx 670 is weak ( i mean playing in ultra high settings for the newest game)

if you use 3 monitors in (3840 x 1024) resolution you wont need a more powerful card than the gtx 670 4gb
but if you use 3 monitors in (5760 x 1080) you would need at least 2 gtx 680 for ultra high best settings

You are only 1/2 right. A single 670 4GB card will not perform well in 2d surround. BUT 4gb 670's in SLI will do just fine at 5760x1080. I get 55 to 60 on ultra in BF3. So to call it weak is not correct.
