As the title says, I'm building a new gaming rig. I'm not real computer savy, I have a general understanding I guess you could say. Once i get all the hardware ordered I have a friend that's going to help me assemble and set it up. That being said I pretty much have everything picked out that I think I want to get, with the exception of a power supply. I'm not really sure what size power supply I need to look at getting. I'll give you the list of components I'm looking at getting and would love some advice on a power supply. Also I'm open to general advice about different components in my build. My current game i'm running is Aion and would like to be able to take advantage of maxxing out graphics settings. Future I will be looking to play Elder Scrolls Online once it comes out.

Also if I go with the case I've linked do you think that i'll be good with the fans included in it since the gpu/cpu both have fans or do you think i'll need better cooling?

Its not worthy to get a velociraptor this days, Its better to have an SSD as OS boot drive and a 1tb HD.

16gb of Ram memory Way overkill you will do Fine with 8gbs at 1600.

I7 way overkill for gaming you will do fine with an I5, theres no Fps or performance gain between the I5 and I7.

Good Motherboard, you could do better, and its way expensive.

now if you change all of this items for the one i suggested you should be able to grab a Gtx 670 wich will give you more performance and overall a better gaming experience.

About the power Supply, You Need a 600w Psu of any of the following brands.

Corsair
Enermax
Antec
Pc power and Cooling
Silverstone
XFX

And why are you using tigerdirect when you can use neweeg?

I don't neccassarily have to order from tiger, just doing my shopping there. nothing is ordered as of yet, just trying to figure out what i want to get and order it piece by piece, don't have the money to order it all at once. as far as processor, i want one that will not be good just at the moment, but down the line and w/ the ability to push 2 video cards if i upgrade to 2 at some point. also aion can be very graphically intensive and my vague understanding is that you need a cpu that can push the gpu? as far as the hard drive, i picked a 10,000rpm for speed, 500gb is honestly overkill for me already, i won't be doing storage, it will be really purely for gaming/web browsing, storage space won't be an issue.
