Hi Friends,
I need to buy a new gaming pc and my budget is around 60,000 Indian Rupees (roughly $1090). I would have gone with the traditional $1000 gaming pc build but the main problem I face is that prices of pc parts in my country India are much higher than listed in those builds. I websites I know of that sell computer parts online in my country are

http://www.flipkart.com/

http://www.theitdepot.com/

Currently the only game I play is Guild Wars 2. I know that game is not the best when it comes to utilizing hardware resources efficiently. The main aim of making a new gaming pc for me is to be able to play upcoming MMORPGs in coming 3 years on at least medium settings with at least 40 FPS. My pc will be located in a fully air-conditioned room. I play around 10 hours a day when I am not working on my business.

I don't know anything about over clocking so if the parts are already over-clocked that would be nice (If over clocking makes life of my system less than 3 years, then I wont go with over-clocking)

I do not have much knowledge about technical terms although I did read about them when I tried to do some research about buying this pc. I have no brand preferences nor do I care about how the pc will look. I just want to get the best bang for my buck.

I will be using my 55 inch LED TV as a monitor. I also have a gaming mouse but will need to buy a gaming keyboard (I can wait for it though if it does not fits into budget). If budget falls short I can go with 1 stick of ram (at least 4gb) and buy the other stick along with SSD later when I have some more money.

Thank you for your help guys and girls.

So I am not going to pick your parts for you, but will gladly give advise on how you can successfully pick them. Picking the pieces and knowing what is in your machine is a great and fun experience. I also am not familiar with your currency.

Remember that as long as you start with a current good CPU and compatible MB you will be able to expand everything else down the line. Starting with a good GPU is a must when gaming is the primary reason to build.

You need to focus your cash on CPU/GPU then adjust other stuff based on those prices.

I love the Intel i5 3570k. But since you will not OC go for the non k version.
Besides a game like Crysis 3 that is pushing the limits, the 3570 will handle any game and situation you throw at it.
This is the only CPU I would recommend to someone currently for gaming. Go higher and price/performace slows. Go lower and your CPU might bottleneck graphics.
The Heatsink/Fan that comes with it will be fine for NON OCed CPU's.

AMD GPUs are my preference. Price and performance is key. You get what you pay for.
HD 7870 Ghz Edition is my current usage. But the 7850 is nice as well. Have some room in budget go for 7970 or comparable Nvidia
Heres a reference on relative price/performance of all vid cards that Toms did
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-7.html

Everything else is really based on your budget.

Ram you want 4 or 8 gigs. This should not cost much. This can be expanded and upgraded later. Make sure it matches the rating listed on whatever motherboard you get.

MB you want socket LGA 1155 if you use the core i5 listed above. I would recommend a Z77 based chipset since the 3570 is Ivy
Bridge. Prices vary. As do features. You need 1 PCIe x16.

Don't skimp on the Power Supply. 500Ws or higher with a reputable brand.

You will also need mass storage (HDD) and optical drive (DVD)
Budget talks here. How much do you have left? can you afford a small Solid State drive AND a larger HHD.
If so, do it. Put OS on SSD. Put your fav game on it. Everything else on other drive.
If not, get yourself a big 1TB+ hard disk like the WD Caviar Black.

The case just make sure it matches the form factor of your Motherboard AND that it can hold the length of your video card.
Remember that this also can be upgraded. So depending on budget you might start with a box that it generic/cheap/but can hold your parts. Then down the line get a nicer case with all the goodies.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask any questions about specific parts and configs while you are shopping.

When I include the cost of cabinet as well (I will buy a big one from a local store) this build exceeds my budget by $60 – but I will manage :D

What are your views on this build?

Looks like a system that is "Future Proof".

Now the hard part.... waiting for it all to arrive!

Good luck to ya

One thing to add. Make sure you have proper air flow in your case. It does not require much for non OCed. Make sure a fan in front is bringing cool air in, and a fan on the back or top is pushing hot air out.

I got some more money right before I was going to order, so that changed my original config. I hope I did okay.

Processor: Intel i7 3770K 3.5Ghz 1155 Socket

Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme4

Graphics Card: Sapphire AMD/ATI HD 7970 3 GB OC Edition

SSD: Samsung 830 64 GB SSD Internal Hard Drive (Sadly 120 GB versions were out of stock)

HDD: Seagate Barracude 1 TB @ 7200 RPM, 32 MB chache memory, SATA 6 GBPS interface

Power Supply: Seasonic X Series - 80 Plus Gold SS-760KM 760 Watts PSU

RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 16 GB (8 X 2) @ 1600 MHZ

Keyboard: Razer Arctosa Silver Gaming Keyboard

I will buy the cabinet once I get the components and see how much space they require. Same for DvD writer. I also bought a nice UPS with excellent voltage stabalization so that my PC does not suffers in case there is some voltage fluctation.

I will not be overclocking anything at the moment. But I bought the K model just in case I need to overclok in future to satisfy performance requeriments (Will buy a good cooler and bigger PSU for that)

I hope this PC will play all good World vs World vs World (realm vs realm vs realm) based MMORPGs in the coming 3 years on medium settings at least.

Edit: I bought a Cool master HAF 932 Cabinet as everything could fit in it.
