hey guys i need some advice and recommendations..
im looking to build an office workstation pc (11 in total) these workstations need to serve a dual purpose, first as an office workstation (excel, word and some other minimalistic type software needs) the second purpose of these workstations will be to play movies (possibly netflix) on a nearby TV for clients.
ive done some testing with my current pc
amd quad core
4gd ram
radeon hd 4290 integrated graphics
using a xbmc playing a 1080p DTS movie.. i noticed overall decent playback, a few dropped frames every so often (usually when loading a new program)
i assume a dedicated video card would probably help the playback issues?
if anyone could recommend a setup for that would be great. im looking to spend $400-$600 maybe a touch more if required. i also need a smaller form factor case. other than that im pretty open to any suggestions
