Gigabyte GTX 660 Windforce II or XFX Radeon HD 7870 DD Tags: Graphics Cards Gtx Gigabyte Radeon Graphics Last response: January 21, 2013 11:36 PM in Graphics & Displays Share WaterGun January 19, 2013 9:12:05 PM Hello, as the title says I have the option to buy a Gigabyte GTX 660 Windforce II or a XFX Radeon HD 7870 DD, the XFX is 10€ more than the 660 but is it worth it? And I kind of "trust" in Nvidia more, so in terms of performance which one will I will be better with? I will probably overclock either card, tho I don't know how good is the XFX card to overclock. Heres both cards: GTX 660: http://www.chiptec.net/incs/verproduto.php?id=13006 XFX 7870 DD: http://www.chiptec.net/incs/verproduto.php?id=13373&ses... With some games in the favor of the GTX 660 and with som in Radeon 7870. Nvidia offers some cool Technologies that AMD doesn't. These Technologies improve Visuals and makes the gameplay smoother. You can check them out below. WaterGun January 19, 2013 9:36:25 PM Yea, thats what I tought, I'am kinda inclined for the 660 cuz of all the technologies that Nvidia has to offer like PhysX and adaptive vsync, and the cooling in the gigabyte 660 is very good Related resources XFX HD 7870 DD vs Gigabyte GTX 660 OC - Forum GIGABYTE GTX 660 OC -vs- XFX Radeon HD 7870 GHz - Forum XFX Radeon HD 7950 DD vs EVGA GTX660Ti: Which to go for? - Forum MSI GTX 660 Twin Frozr VS XFX Radeon HD 7850 2 GB DD - Forum inno3d gtx 660 ti or xfx 7870 ghz dd - Forum Can't find your answer ?
