Motherboard: Asus RoG Maximus V Gene = £140

Processer: Intel i5-2500K Unlocked Core i5 Quad-Core Processor =£170

Ram: Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B 8GB 1600Mhz CL9 DDR3 Vengeance Memory Module Kit =£47

Power Supply: FSP Aurum 80 PLUS 750W Modular PSU - Gold =£111

Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 2GB =£153

I would switch the 2500k with a 3570k unless you just really want to overclock to insane clock speeds.

I like a few cases in that price range, such as the fractal design r4, nzxt phantom 410, corsair carbide 500r, cooler master storm enforcer, and antec 900.
