I bought this http://www.netgear.com/home/products/powerline-and-coax...

They are closer than 15ft to each box just 1 wall width away. My friends wireless card, in his laptop, stops the powerline adapters from working. But, recently we found that it only does it when his charger is plugged in. We tried changing his power settings and disabling the card (built-in) and go wired but it still blocks his signal. It only does it when the laptop is on and has charger plugged in. His battery has a average life of 30minutes do to wear and tear so needs constantly plugged in. Any ideas on how to get it to work?

Put his charger on the end of a 6-10 foot extension cord, that will reduce the interference as well as any powerline filter.
